TERRY RANDOLPH CAPPS
Mr. Terry R. Capps of Okawville, IL departed this life at his residence surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 10:23 A.M. He had attained the age of 73 years, 4 months, and 13 days.
Terry was born in Hendersonville, NC on October 31, 1951, the son of John D. and Ludith (nee Taylor) Capps. He was united in marriage to Nancy Hoffmann in San Bernardino, CA on May 28, 1976, and she survives his passing.
Mr. Capps volunteered for the United States Air Force and was inducted on March 3, 1975, and retired with an honorable discharged on March 31, 1992, having attained the rank of Master Sergeant. While serving his country, Terry was awarded several medals and ribbons including, the Air Force Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Overseas Long Tour Ribbon, and the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross. After retiring from the Air Force, Terry worked as a forklift operator at Cablofil LeGrand in Mascoutah, IL. Terry continued his education and
