Mr. Jack K. Lane, of Nashville, IL, departed this life surrounded by his family at the Washington County Hospital-Extended Care in Nashville on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 12:10 A.M. He had attained the age of 82 years, 3 months and 7 days.
Mr. Lane was born on December 1, 1942, in Breese, IL the son of Jack J. and Mary Ann "Sally" (Newkirk) Lane. He was united in marriage to Janet Kaufman on April 19, 1968, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Todds Mill, IL and she survives his passing.
Jack farmed the family land and worked for the Belleville Union #459 for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jack wrote poems and short stories in his spare time, and he cherished his time spent with his family.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Janet Lane, of Nashville, IL; three children, Kristy Brink and husband Jason, Jon Lane and Kara Paszkiewicz and husband Dan, all of Nashville, IL; grandchildren, Kasie (Danny) Dlubala, Nicholas Brink, Sailor Gutzler-Dlubala, Jakob and Jackson
