Mr. John James Hoffman of Radom, IL, peacefully went home to the Lord on February 24, 2025, in Swansea, IL. He had attained the age of 81 years, 5 months and 15 days.
John was born to Joseph and Gertrude (nee Gajewski) Hoffman on September 8th, 1943 in Chicago, IL. John was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, one of which was John's twin.
Left to mourn his passing are his niece, Marie Christine (Freddie) Novosel II; nephew, Joseph (Melissa) Hoffman; cousin, Margie Holtz; other relatives and friends.
John was a family man even though he was technically a lifelong bachelor which he would often joke about. You became family to him whether blood or not once he befriended you. He was a philanthropist and gave to hundreds of charities including Doctors without Borders, multiple Catholic charities, children's charities, Democratic party members, and Wildlife and National Park Services and anything that he felt would truly better the world.
