ROBERT R. LIND
Mr. Robert Lind of Okawville, IL, formerly of St. Louis, MO, departed this life in the Washington County Hospital in Nashville, IL on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 9:02 A.M. He had attained the age of 82 years, 10 months, and 22 days.
Robert was born in St. Louis on March 12, 1942, the son of Julius and Mabel (nee Lanser) Lind.
Bob worked as a printer/typesetter and proofreader at Eden Publishing House in St. Louis for many years. He served several years in the Missouri National Guard and was extremely proud of his service. While still living in St. Louis, he volunteered as a youth group leader at MOVAL which is a United Church of Christ camp for youths in Missouri. Bob also volunteered for years at St. Louis ARC, which is an organization that helps to empower people with disabilities. Not only was Robert an avid sports fan, but he also coached several different teams in the United Church of Christ women's softball church league. Robert moved out to Okawville in 2019 to
