Mrs. Regina Matecki of Nashville, IL departed this life at Washington County Hospital in Nashville, IL on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 9:36 P.M. She had attained the age of 101 years, 9 months and 6 days.
Regina was born on September 11, 1922, at the daughter of Steve and Katie (nee Brink) Liszewski. She was united in marriage to Leo P. Matecki on May 11, 1946, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Posen, IL and he preceded her in death on November 2, 1990.
Regina worked alongside her husband and family on the family farm. Some of her hobbies that she enjoyed doing included sewing, quilting, gardening vegetables and flowers, canning and playing pinochle. Regina loved her family dearly and cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Left to mourn her passing are her 2 children, Arthur Matecki and wife Joyce and Cheryl Colbrook and husband Jay all of Nashville, IL; son-in-law, Rick Pytlinski of Ashley; 9 grandchildren, Mark (Ginger) Matecki, Scott (Desiree) Matecki, Ali
